課程概述 |
This is a first part of a year-long intermediate-level macroeconomics course. Throughout this course, we are going to strengthen our understanding of macroeconomics. |
|
課程目標 |
Since this is an advanced course from the principle course, we are challenging (at least) two things:
1. Studying economic theory/economic models: We will use more (but simple enough) math in this course. This is unavoidable if we want to understand economics more deeply. Mathematics is sometimes helpful for us to get clear ideas about economic events in the real world. We, however, do not use very-high-level mathematics, and we will help you if you are in trouble. Since this course does not have a practice session, I will spend time for practice in my lecture.
2. Group presentation: I will ask you to do a presentation in English in the class. [It will be a group presentation, not an individual presentation.] This will be a good chance to practice talking in front of other people in English. Topics will be announced later. |
